Spiritual Direction

Historically “Spiritual Direction” is a method of intentional spiritual growth rooted in the Christian tradition, but today it covers the mutli-religious field of professional spiritual companionship. In my practice, it is the term I use for customized individual session work, and can include a lot of different things. Oftentimes I hear folks say that in order to work with various supportive professionals (therapists, doctors, etc.), they need to leave part of themselves out; most often either spirituality or social justice. I’m not here to replace those folks in your life, but I do believe that you are best served—that we are best served as a community—when you can bring your whole self to your transformative work. I’m so here for that.

My Practice

I welcome all Seekers to my practice! However, Spiritual Direction is intimate work done in the spiritual context most meaningful to you. I specialize in Spiritual Direction for folks whose journey includes:

  • Witchcraft

  • Paganism

  • Ancestor work

  • the Goddess path

  • Nature-based spirituality

  • Social Justice Advocacy and Organizing

 

My tools

In the course of Spiritual Direction, we may engage some or all of these:

  • Tarot

  • Ritual

  • Herb magic

  • Sacred space

  • Guided meditation

  • Compassionate listening

  • Social Justice Analysis

  • Knowledge sharing

  • Accountability

Structure

  • Initial conversation required to establish our mutual suitability and timeframe

  • $125/session (sliding scale available)

  • Goal oriented, but open-ended as needed
