Ostara Egg Dying Party @ Duluth Folk School

Family friendly! Kids and their favorite adults welcome! During this class, you will be using plant material to naturally pattern and dye eggs. It’s one of my favorite traditions with my own family, and I want to share it with you!

Ostara is one name for the celebration of welcoming Spring on the equinox. During the class we’ll talk about symbolism and tradition, and how to build your own traditions around things that are meaningful to you. For example, eggs and flowers are both symbols of Spring, so they’re perfect for this Earth-based, kid-centric activity.

Come learn how to use flowers and leaves to imprint unique designs on eggs, how to make and use natural dye from common kitchen items, and chat about building traditions that matter to you!
